Thinking about college and interested in construction? The Duluth Superior Area Community
Foundation is taking applications for the newly created Richard Washburn Scholarship,
sponsored by Ulland Brothers. This scholarship - worth up to $4000 - is for students who live
within 100 miles of Cloquet, Virginia or Albert Lea, have a GPA of 2.8 or greater, and are
planning a career in the construction industry. Complete the application at

Minnesota Power is looking to recognize high school seniors who have been particularly active in
their communities through volunteerism and community service. They are offering numerous
$2500 scholarships to people who live in their service area (in other words HERE), have a GPA
of 3.0 or greater and have been active in their community, church or high school. If you want a
